Micah

Micah is "free-ana-half"(3 1/2) He likes "mini-pigs"(guinea pigs), trucks & goats(you go son). Micah also likes it when Safeway puts their John Deere "gummies" on sale and mommy buys a gazillion boxes for next to nothing. He plays with his gummies, he likes the *sun* best because it is big.

The tractor runs over the pigs..and they die by flying into Micah's mouth.
He can stack four before they fall over.
Eating gummies brightens any lunchtime.

Today was a good day. Micah has had a pain in his left eye for about 6 months now. He runs to mommy holding his eye and crying that there is a sharp pain. We hold pressure on his eye and it goes away within minutes to seconds. It isn't fun and it breaks my heart. It has been getting more frequent, daily the last week. Six months is enough time to let go and after reading some articles online the "T" word came up. I start thinking is there a "t" behind his eye causing these pains? What mother can't help but think the worst here and there. A friend who happened to visit her optometrist mentioned Micahs pain and the doctor said he needs to see an opthamologist, which is a specialist, I guess.

He saw the "octopus"(opthamologist) this morning and had a painful, but helpful 1.5hr visit. Conclusion? Who knows. Nothing there, clearly there is no "T', he could see all around back there. His eyes are perfectly healthy. See you in a year. So why the pain? We don't know, I left paying the big bill and no answers other than, he is fine. Which is good, don't get me wrong...
but doesn't help when the pain comes.
We know the Lord knows exactly what is wrong and why he allows it. In His good timing He will reveal the problem or clear it up.. or not. It is wonderful to know our
childrens Maker and rest knowing it is all in His hands.

But he did get cooooool glasses, a rubber snake and a bouncy ball.

LOL! What a perfect post. I love getting to know the kids a bit here and there. And it will definitely put me on the lookout for John Deere gummies. I am glad that his eye is okay. Chris was born with a problem in his left eye, we've been to more pediatric opthamologist appointments than I can count. Hang in there with that. What a fun sweet boy. Marie

Heather, nice to meet you. I hate the fact that Blogger leaves me no way to email back and say hello. I am so happy for Cynthia that Levi is finally here! I am glad you are enjoying my blog, thank you for visiting!
