Vacations and updates

We spent the weekend in Olympia/Seattle visiting our legislators, Capitol building and the Pacific Science Center. I started three different posts, but never published, so that is my goal in the next couple days. Just getting everyone's schooling done, corrected, dinner on the table and the house clean is keeping me busy.

Sheesh. You know how once in a while you look around your house and think, wow, how did ____(fill in the blank)___ that get so bad?! Well, it hit me last week that we have enough clothes in our home to clothe 3 or 4 families. Jess(the best helper this side of the Mississippi) and I made it through her clothes, Jacob and Daniels and had two tall garbage bags worth. Tomorrow we tackle the little kids! Hokey Pete.

Quick Family Updates.

1. I got a new poodle. He is aDORable, tiny and white. He even has those cute little pompoms on his tail and feet. He will be the new stud around this place.

2. Elijah got his first *shave*. I kept his hair in a baggie. my baby...

3. My goat is HUGE pregnant.

4. Elijah will be ONE in 16 days.

5. The boys found that trapping fish in the winter turns up salamanders, not fish. Too fun. Our boys love to trap fish year around.

6. I got my pertty gun and after a lot of coaxing, I shot the thing. I don't like shooting, I'd rather be at the dentist, but it sure is a cute gun. And really, isn't that what counts?
