Frog Night 2010 is over and it was a hit.

Jessie, Jacob and Daniel started by making up a batch of lily pad sugar cookies, topped them with gummy frogs and sprinkled them with green sugar. As they cooled on the table we noticed all the
gummies were missing on the far side of the cookies, but Gracie was in BED. So we could not figure out who in the world was stealing those
gummies. Elijah is much too young and innocent to discover THAT. Right?

The children decorated the barn up with a table, posters and drinks. Jessie even researched a fact sheet for the little children on Pacific Chorus Frogs and a coloring page! She is so nifty.

This little girl loved her frog and wasn't scared of them a bit! Every time I saw her in one hand was her daddy and the other was a frog!

8 adults and 22 children and less than 72 hours notice! That is pretty good! There were flashlights flickering in the night. We could not have had better weather! The Lord was so gracious to give us a warmer, dry evening. We got a good bucket of
froggies, but there seemed less than last week so next year we will plan it a week earlier.

Community bucket...thanks Mr. J5.

Warm up time.

We pulled the
goatamus out for the children to pet and while we did that the W's daddy made his idea of what Paul looks like in the morning. He cracks us all up!

Bucket-O-
Froggies
Squish-release-squish-release-squish-release-squish...."Gracie, put the
froggie back in the bucket." "Yes, mommy."
Froggy filled itself with air to appear larger and therefore scare yon toddler off.
Hmmm...purpose defeated....it just made for a squishier froggie.
Lots of laughter, cookies and friends...and no frog casualties. A great night.

Wish we could have been there. Looks like it was a blast!
Thanks so much for doing this. Theya had so much fun and told me all about it when she got home with Daddy.
We were planning on coming, but I thought it was on Thursday, then I realized it was supposed to be on Wednesday...To late, all well, maybe some other time!
