See this? Our first 2011 Bourbon Red fertile turkey egg, two months earlier than expected. Pure gold.
I also want to say THANK you for all your sweet excitement & rejoicing with us over our little one. I am so blessed with good friends who have nothing but kind words to offer. It may be #8, but I am no less giddy inside anticipating the arrival of this little bundle of joy than I was with #1, #2 or #3...if anything I look forward to those sleepless nights and smelling like rotten milk, lol!
The days are too long and we pray the Lord will see fit to allow
her to be delivered safely in our arms in June.

How did they do that? Could your turkeys give my turkeys lessons?
I've never seen a turkey egg. They are beautiful!
Excuse my ignorance, but do you eat any of them or are you wanting baby turkeys?
Kristi, To tell you the truth, we were caught off guard by these early eggs. I had no intentions of messing with the incubator yet, so there are now four of them sitting on our counter looking pretty. But I guess it means I will start it up and pop them in so they do not go to waste.
June is a GREAT month to have a baby! Both my girls were born in June. :)
Love the Turkey egg. I expected it to be bigger...
Oh, I LOVE the smell of 'rotten'(sour) (breast) milk! :-P
