Can you believe it? Two months already! 12lbs 9 oz and outgrowing his outfits in length, on to 6-9m sizes. With his bump all gone, much earlier than we ever believed, he is cute as a button. With lots of blond hair, dark blue eyes, a chubby belly and a smile to make anyone melt, this little guy is the center of the household.
He only wakes up once at night to nurse, at 3am, on the button. You can set your clock by it. He is happy happy happy for a short period of time after he is nursed ;) He is just starting to focus on toys hanging in front of him and talk to them. It is so much fun to have a baby around!

He is precious! Okay I have a question....Levi only weighs 9lbs 12 oz! He is 3 months tomorrow. He is nursing and taking 4 oz of formula a day. He still has tons of diapers, dirty and wet a day! I cant tell if its me or him. When he takes a bottle he is'nt over eager about half the time he doesnt even finish it! What do you think?, since you have had not so good nursers! I am still taking him for weight checks and will do so tomorrow too. Cynthia
So sweet!
He's a doll baby! So cute :)
Cynthia, if I may put in my two cents, both my girls have been tiny little things and all my children have been exclusively breastfed. The girls have barely been on the charts for weight. My middle girl was even smaller than your guy at 3 months... just a hair over 9lbs. Don't stress the weight thing too much as long as the output is good. It sounds like your son's output is great, so he's getting enough! Our pediatrician always told us that someone has to make up the upper and lower ends of average, you know? Breastmilk is more calorie and fat dense than formula and also has all the cool other stuff like antibodies, so if you wanted to cut feedings, cutting the formula would be better. I'll stop typing now :) Good luck!
Jennifer, your blog is a blessing! I wanted to leave a comment at your testimony, but there's no spot. But it was a joy to read!
