Our "litter" of goatlings
Their names are April(1st born), Barbie(short for BBQ) and Left-over(Lefty).
I am already begging to keep April as a breeder, but the other two will live up to their names.
"Airplane Ears"
Bottle feeding is going so well that babies can be mothered by Junie(after they have been fed) without worrying about them nursing. Junie is such a good mamma. She won't let Chloe and Jackie near the young'uns and keeps the three babes in a nice little cluster all the while talking in a very sweet goaty voice that we have never heard her use. How fun.
Junie feels like a beautiful woman, I mean doe, again. Yesterday she got her nails done, her beard brushed and trimmed(as all proper women should) and a nice warm sponge bath. Don't roll your eyes at me.
What a beautiful day today, get outside!

I can't believe they're all white. They look like Saanens except for the airplane ears. I love airplane ears!
So cute. Gwen is beside herself with excitement about coming to see you guys on Tuesday. She keeps verifying that we're going and that she can indeed snuggle a baby goat and a baby chicken.
