"It's like no one ever wore them before"

I stumbled upon this reeeeally good sale at Sears. Clearance of 40-50% off, THEN another 40% off. We bought a ton of new clothes for next year, baby gifts, khaki's and even jeans. I bought four 5pc Carters layettes as baby gifts for $6.50ea!! My children were SO impressed to have NEW clothes. I have resigned to shop consignment and thrift stores with rising costs and this phenomenon of a new little one in the home every other year. The title quote is what Daniel had to say after putting on his new jammies tonight. ;-)

I asked the children really...what is the difference between what we get from the thrift store and these and they all said "They're shiny!" " They smell good!" "They're clean!"

Here are my two pictures of my windfall. I paid $120 for all this. It is, after all, overtime season for Paul. The boys really scored, the girls were less fortunate. The styles for the girls at Sears are pretty sad. Skimpy, plunging necklines(even for 5 yr olds),cheap and not the kind of look Daddy is going to have his precious daughters promote. The girls got socks and Gracie brought home some jammies and a raincoat.
