Happy birthday Elijah Willem! Last year on this day, 10 loooong days after my due date, I was posting this and thrilled to do so! Ahh..he was so cute. Complete with the cephalohematoma on the top of his head that grew and grew.
He is a St Patty's baby, yet not a smidge Irish, though he was delivered by his Irish midwife Winni MacNamara. ;)
Elijah woke to many kisses and hoo-haa over his birthday. He has had the song sung to him a dozen times and doted on all morning.
He got his favorite breakfast. Naners and toast with butter.
Stuff'in my mouth and refusing to smile.
The morning is young, but he found the time to stir the toilet. One of his favorites. I'm going to the store to buy a lock.
Oh, and climb the stairs......again.
1 year old and 6 teeth, been walking for three months now, and had a first haircut.
Loves phones or other remotes he knows he is NOT supposed to have.
Is a ham.
And dearly loved by everyone! Happy Birthday Elijah. Oh...(drum roll please) and my FAVORITE thing to post on his first birthday? He has still never had formula or goat milk. He is my first successfully breast fed baby!

Congrats on the breastfeeding too. So glad that worked out for you. I don't know about you, but there has always been a big feeling of accomplishment at reaching that one year mark!
