After a grueling long time in the back laundryroom(where it gets aaaaall the afternoon sun) patiently working in a very tight space with at least four children asking him questions, he did it. No repair man is going to make a buck off us today.
You know how when you open the door to a washer the spin cycle stops, close the door and it starts...open the door and it stops? Well, it seems some one has been poking their finger(among other gadgets) down the hole in the top that controls that for a few years now intrigued by its function. The little hooha in there broke apart. We can replace it for a pretty penny, but instead we(he) hot glued it together and it is set for another few years.
I love my handyman.
And all he cost was the change he found in the bottom of the tub.... .75cents.
